SCC is a quality product “Made in Germany” – precision down to the last detail – developed by HAWEKA in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Trucks. Setup of the calibration system occurs in just a few work steps, all without measuring tape, battens or adhesive tape. Mobile use is possible, it ensures significant time savings and can be installed quickly and easily on any surface.

Initially developed to ensure quality workmanship in the CKD factories of Mercedes-Benz worldwide with regard to initial delivery, HAWEKA made the SCC suitable for the workshop.

The system was developed in cooperation with Mercedes-Benz, and carried over to series production.

The SCC (Side Cam Calibration) calibration system from HAWEKA offers the following advantages:

Special centred wheel alignment clamps for rapid use on the drive axle to comply with the defined parallelism to the geometric driving axle
Fast setup of the measuring crosshead and positioning of the targets within 5 minutes
Height adjustable measuring crosshead for use on workshop pits
Two traversing targets in white and orange for use on surfaces with different colours
Battery powered laser measuring heads
Use of a cross line green beam laser for better visibility on different workshop floors
The laser distance meter ensures exact positioning of traversing targets relative to the defined distances
Calibration is executed through the vehicle diagnostic software
